FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Apr 22, 2025

VHPA strongly condemns the  dastardly attack on Hindus in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Bharat. All victims are Hindu tourists and were brutally killed after specifically asking each of them about their religion.

Amitabh Mittal, General Secretary of VHPA said, “After 9/11, 26/11, 7/7, and 10/7, the world said ‘Never again’. We vowed to remember — yet time and again, we forget. Meanwhile, the perpetrators of the most heinous and genocidal acts continue to remind us of the evil that still lurks among us.

The brutal attack on innocent tourists in Jammu & Kashmir on April 22nd is yet another dark day for humanity. The world must not only condemn the horrific nature of this act but also confront its root cause. This was not just an attack — it was a manifestation of a violent, jihadi ideology that has no place in any civilized society.

Evil thrives when good people remain silent. It is time to stand united and say, enough is enough.”

Shyam Tiwari, VHPA spokesperson and VP said, “Targeted massacre of Hindus in Pahalgam isn’t just a terrorist act but also a full-fledged war against Indian state and should be treated and dealt with in a war like manner. The perpetrators of these crimes against humanity and the sponsors of these terrorist must be punished to the fullest extent possible.”

Tejal Shah, President of VHPA said, “Attack on tourists in Kashmir, a place called heaven on the earth, is condemnable in the strongest possible terms. Every individual was killed because one was Hindu, this is the  level of barbarism and Hindu hate must be addressed and criminals must be punished.

With every such attacks, hope for elimination of terrorism gets wiped out and we prove ourselves wrong and the evildoers right, humanity cries out loud for the Justice.”

We pray for the well-being of the survivors and convey our condolences to  the affected families. We expect all-out war against the perpetrators of these horrific acts and hope these enemies of humanity are swiftly and decidedly brought to justice.
