Hurricane Irma is one of the strongest and dangerous storms in the history. It has already created a trail of destruction in the Caribbean. It is expected that immediate effects and associated floods in Florida and southern states will have a long lasting effect on the lives of the general population, cattle and household pets. This will be severe for the underserved sections of the society. To help with the immediate relief and short to medium term recovery and rehabilitation is important to minimize the suffering.
